Our purpose, values, and desire for inclusion have long been the basis for how we engage with each other, and we expect everyone engaging with our Cambridge community to treat each other with respect and professionalism. This means we must each continually strive to reflect our shared values through the following:
Our Code of Conduct is to be honored at business related interactions, including our conferences and events, by all of Cambridge Nation, including: home office associates and independent financial professionals, as well as event staff, moderators, organizers, speakers, sponsors, vendors, and volunteers.
Cambridge senior executives will enforce this code, as will event staff at events. We expect cooperation from everyone engaged in a business interaction or event to help ensure a safe environment for all. We appreciate all choosing to join with our community – together we make a difference with our culture of respect and inclusion.
Uncomfortable or Unwelcome Situations and Harassment: As a community, Cambridge is dedicated to creating a welcoming experience for everyone. Uncomfortable or unwelcome situations and harassment may include: offensive verbal comments related to gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, age, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, ancestry, religion, non-religious beliefs, sexualized images, materials, commentary, or activities in public spaces, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate and/or uncomfortable physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention.
Participants in a business interaction or event that are asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately. If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed or subject to unwelcome behavior, or have any other concerns, please contact a member of the Cambridge team immediately. Cambridge will investigate all incidents reported.
If a participant engages in harassing behavior at an event, the staff may take any action they deem appropriate, including warning the offender or expulsion from the event with no refund, if applicable. Cambridge reserves the right to bar any person who violates our Code of Conduct from attending Cambridge events in whole or in part; and in extreme situations, affiliation with Cambridge may be terminated.
The Code of Conduct does not supersede policies in place as part of Cambridge’s Associate Manual or Relationship Agreement with financial professionals.
Cambridge respects and embraces diversity. Our focus remains steadfast on listening, understanding, and valuing everyone as we come together united in purpose, values, and service to each other.
We are stronger when united.
