“In agriculture, much like in what we do day to day, there are only so many controllable factors. We have to plan for those droughts in life, we have to plan for those rainy days – it reminds us we have to keep the harvest in mind.”
At just eight years old, Megan Bynum said she began learning the value of money and what it meant to work hard. She would help out in the concession stand during baseball games, taking money and counting change. What once started as a learning opportunity quickly transitioned into a lifelong career. Megan earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation and is a financial advisor at Harvest Wealth Group. She is one of just 40 individuals under the age of 40 selected to receive a 2022 InvestmentNews 40 Under 40 award, a prestigious accolade presented to financial professionals making a significant positive impact in the advice industry and their local community. As Megan continues her journey in the independent space, she remains active in her community, focused on supporting financial literacy for future generations and encouraging the professional advancements of women.
