From physics to finance — Zach Hager’s career has had many interesting twists and turns. After deciding to change course from a Ph.D. in physics, Zach turned to the financial services industry. As a managing partner at The Professional Alliance, Zach and his business partner, Chris Barone, are two of the youngest enterprise leaders at Cambridge. Zach is also a valued member of Cambridge’s Technology Advisory Council, which is constantly leveraging technology to better serve financial professionals. Zach Hager is a managing partner and vice president at The Professional Alliance. Zach graduated with a bachelor’s degree in physics from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, where he also played soccer as the starting goaltender. He holds FINRA Series 7, 24, and 66 licenses. Zach and his managing partner, Christ Barone, support financial professionals, law offices, accounting firms, and financial institutions throughout the U.S. While not working, Zach can be found on a soccer field as he’s involved in several intramural leagues. He’s also a big Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
