FAIRFIELD, IA – August 5, 2021 – Cambridge has promoted Valarie Vest to First Vice President of Fiduciary Services and Portfolio Management Office. In this role, she continues to lead the Fiduciary Services department to develop and implement services and solutions for Cambridge’s independent financial professionals to help them grow their advisory and retirement assets. Vest also advises Cambridge executive leadership groups on the execution of strategic corporate initiatives and the firm’s portfolio of projects as she provides collaborative leadership over the Project Management Team.
Vest joined Cambridge in 2018 and has more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, including leadership experience in operations, relationship and client management, and retirement product marketing. Since joining Cambridge, she has played a critical role in the planning, development, and execution of numerous firm wide initiatives. These include the integration of AdvicePay’s payment processing platform; the expansion of WealthPort® – Cambridge’s digitized, flexible managed account solution; and the implementation of CLIC® Advisor and CLIC Client – key components of Cambridge’s comprehensive online business environment. In her new role, Vest provides alignment for key project management contributions and brings a broad view of these projects from across the organization to drive results for the firm.
Vest earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from the University of Washington and completed additional coursework at Strayer University and Rutgers Center for Innovation Education. Additionally, she holds the FINRA Series 7, 24, and 66 licenses.
