FAIRFIELD, IA – February 7, 2022 – Cambridge has promoted Sarah Berner to Vice President of Operations. In this role, Berner works with Cambridge leaders and business partners to support the firm’s service vision and drive optimal operating efficiency. Among many duties, Berner also develops and implements strategic initiatives designed to improve overall service standards and help the company achieve its operational goals.
Joining Cambridge in 2018, Berner has nearly 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. She has led the Operations Account Supervision Team since arriving at Cambridge, and has headed the firm’s Client Onboarding and Quality Assurance and Reporting Teams for nearly two years. Additional roles Berner has excelled in include leadership positions with the firm’s Operating Risk and Imaging and Document Services Teams. Berner brings regulatory oversight to Cambridge’s current procedures and has been instrumental in the firm’s strategic business planning efforts to effectively supervise all aspects of operations.
Berner received her bachelor’s degree in finance and international business from the University of Iowa. She holds the FINRA Series 7, 24, and 66 licenses, as well as life, health, and annuity licenses. She is an active member of Cambridge’s Human Capital Leadership Committee, a Registered Corporate Coach (RCC™), and a certified Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt.
