FAIRFIELD, IA – May 17, 2022 – Cambridge is proud to announce a partnership with Spire Outsourcing (Spire) to bring outsourced financial planning services to its 3,800-plus financial professionals. Cambridge’s newest solution connects financial professionals with experienced financial planners to assist in the development of financial plans for clients.
Spire will have seamless integration with Cambridge’s CLIC® Advisor workstation powered by eMoney, and the solution will be available to all Cambridge financial professionals starting today.
Jeff Vivacqua, Cambridge’s Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, noted that outsourcing the task of financial plan construction through Spire will let financial professionals focus their resources while simultaneously growing their firm. “Cambridge is thrilled to partner with Spire Outsourcing on a solution that we believe so many can benefit from. Spire makes it possible for all Cambridge financial professionals, regardless of experience level, to provide comprehensive financial plans for their clients,” Vivacqua added.
Spire operates as a behind-the-scenes member of the financial professional’s team – interacting with the financial professional. The Spire team helps gather the client’s financial data within CLIC Advisor or eMoney retail, then constructs a customized financial plan using either Foundational or Advanced Planning. The financial professional then reviews the unique insights of the plan with Spire before delivering it to their client.
The comprehensive nature of the plan creates insight into a client’s retirement, investment, estate, and insurance needs, among other financial areas. With this information refined into a single plan, financial professionals and clients are equipped to make better decisions to achieve their financial goals.
“Today’s clients increasingly demand personalized service. They want help from a financial professional who truly understands them and who can help them understand the many facets of investing. Clients want financial professionals who can help them reach personal goals without the confusion of industry jargon,” said Eric Sawyer, Spire President and Chief Planning Officer. “A well-constructed financial plan provides all of that. The problem for most financial professionals is finding the time and the talent to create these plans. That’s exactly where Spire fits in.”
Spire’s business model doesn’t just stop at meeting today’s financial planning needs. A 2021 InvestmentNews study found that while firms “will have no choice but to recruit more,” they are hesitant to increase staff1. Spire’s seasoned financial planners are looking to the future of the profession by filling the ranks of their team with the best and brightest from the nation’s premier financial planning higher education programs.
