FAIRFIELD, IA – June 7, 2022 – Cambridge is proud to be named a 2022 WealthManagement.com Industry Awards (“Wealthies”) finalist in four categories. Amy Webber (CEO of the Year), Jeff Vivacqua (CMO of the Year), the Cambridge Community of Women program (Corporate Social Responsibility), and the Cambridge Stronger Podcast (Thought Leadership) were each named finalists in their respective categories by a panel of 14 independent judges that evaluated1 nearly 1,000 entries from more than 350 companies, the largest number of submissions received in the award’s eight-year history.
The Wealthies program began in 2014 and is the first awards program of its kind to honor outstanding achievements by companies, organizations and individuals that support financial advisor success. Winners will be announced during a formal awards ceremony on September 8, 2022 in New York City.

Amy Webber — CEO of the Year

Amy Webber is President and CEO of Cambridge Investment Research, Inc. Since taking over the role of CEO in 2017 — succeeding Founder Eric Schwartz who serves as Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors — Webber has helped guide Cambridge to become one of the most respected, innovative, and fastest growing financial solutions firms in the industry.
Webber voices support for effective change in regulation to support financial professionals through her contributions on the FINRA Board of Governors (2017-2021) and service on the Financial Services Institute (FSI) Board of Directors (served from 2014-2017 and was re-elected to the Board in 2022). She sits on various industry advisory councils, frequently speaks publicly on topics across the industry spectrum, and serves on the Indian Hills Community College Board of Trustees.
Jeff Vivacqua — CMO of the Year

With over 27 years of experience in financial services, Jeffrey Vivacqua serves as a member of Cambridge’s Board of Directors and Executive Council. Vivacqua has an active role in managing strategic opportunities for Cambridge that affect independent financial professionals, including sales, marketing, consulting, acquisitions, events and education, and product research, while enhancing and expanding the digital strategies and solutions financial professionals need on a client-facing basis. He and other members of Cambridge’s executive team have been instrumental in the firm’s digital transformation efforts in recent years, developing new technology and resources designed to support financial professionals in serving their clients.
Vivacqua has also been a member of the Board of Directors for the Invest in Others Charitable Foundation (IiO) since 2016, currently serving as Vice-Chair.
Cambridge Community of Women — Corporate Social Responsibility

The Cambridge Community of Women program was created in 2010 with the goal of encouraging greater gender diversity across the industry. The group has evolved to include hundreds of financial professionals and associates actively participating. Enhancements to the program were implemented in 2021 following the return to live events post pandemic.
Today the group regularly participates in calls, educational events, networking opportunities, and coordinates the annual Cambridge Community of Women Forum. The program remains committed to encouraging more female representation in the advice industry, with the percentage of men participating in the program and events continuing to increase.
Cambridge Stronger Podcast — Thought Leadership

Launched in 2020 and hosted by Cambridge President and CEO Amy Webber, the Cambridge Stronger podcast offers a unique platform for independent financial professionals to discuss industry trends affecting the financial services industry and offer thought leadership and guidance to those considering a career in the business. New episodes are released bi-weekly and feature topics including digital technology, business building, growth strategies, recruiting, diversity and inclusion, industry trends, and more.
Also embedded in each episode are important life lessons as Cambridge independent financial professionals discuss with Webber the ups and downs of building a business. Core values, perseverance, work ethic, community service, and work-life balance are common themes.
